from Problem to Solution
Originally the chain tensioner is mounted on a fix bolt. Even with a new chain and guide rail, the piston comes out of the housing quite far. If the chain is then stretching with the time, it can be possible that the tensioning piston falls out totally!
Cylinder head total loss!
To get rid of this problem in a simple and durable way, the tensioner will be mounted on a adjustable bolt on a adapter plate. This way, it can be adjusted depending on the chain stretch. So that the piston is guided as best as possible in the tensioner housing.
